Grocer Gunst is a bicycle home delivery service for fresh, local, and sustainably grown produce.

We offer the highest-quality produce from some of the most ecologically sound and bio-diverse farms in BC, and we bring it to you without burning fossil fuels or contributing to urban congestion in Vancouver.

How do we do this? By partnering only with Biodynamic farms within an easy drive of the Vancouver area, and piggy-backing our produce orders with the farmers' trips to the farmers' markets. Once we get it, its all transported by bicycle. Good farms, efficient highway transportation, smart urban transportation.

Grocer Gunst is not an online grocery store, nor is it a CSA. Instead, we've taken the best elements of each of these systems and combined them to give you the experience of a CSA share with the flexibility of a grocer.

So sign up with Grocer Gunst for weekly deliveries or just a one-time order and know exactly who grew and harvested your food, and who packed and delivered it. Know too that your produce was raised in accordance with the highest standards of sustainability and delivered to you with minimal environmental impact.

Grocer Gunst is back for 2010!

After our successful first year in 2009 servicing Mt. Pleasant and Commericial Drive, we're back with an expanded delivery area and a new partner farm. Now residents of Mt. Pleasant, Commercial Drive, Kitsilano, Fairview, Strathcona, and Hastings-Sunrise can now all enjoy Grocer Gunst's convenient deliveries.

We've also added a new staff-person; welcome Sidria!

Deliveries will begin in early May this year, weather-depending.
